Today was a stunning day on the East side of Hawaii. I had a great time aboard “Lavaone”, a 49 passenger luxurious boat owned and operated by Shane Turbin, of Lavaocean.com
It was clear, warm and the ocean calm as we cruised out of Wailoa Boat harbor. Once we left Hilo Bay it wasn’t long before we were accompanied by a pod of spinner dolphins, so energetic! Waterfalls galore and even a few whales showed their selves, even though January is a bit early to see them.
