From Kailua-Kona Airport (a scenic 2.5 hour drive): From Hilo International Airport (approximately 25 minutes):
- RIGHT on AIRPORT RD.
- LEFT on HIGHWAY 11 (KANOELEHUA AVE / HAWAII BELT RD)
- LEFT on KEAAU PAHOA BYPASS RD / HIGHWAY 130 SOUTH
- Continue on Hwy 130 for a little more than 13 miles
- Look for MILE MARKER 13 and approximately 1/4 of a mile past the marker, TURN LEFT onto LEILANI AVE (look for the Leilani Estates sign on the lava rock wall)
- Continue on LEILANI AVE approximately 2.5 miles
- LEFT on HOOKUPU STREET
- Ohia House is approximately 3/4 of a mile down on your RIGHT
- Look for our blue Ohia House sign, turn right into the driveway
- PARK in front of the house, you will see the PINEAPPLE parking sign.
- RIGHT on Hwy 19 heading south (toward Kona/Captain Cook)
- LEFT on HINA LANI STREET (near MILE MARKER 96)
- LEFT on Hwy 190 (approximately three miles up the hill)
- Continue toward Waimea, and once in Waimea HIGHWAY 190 will turn into HIGHWAY 19. Continue on this road toward Hilo
- In Hilo, transition onto HIGHWAY 11. Follow signage toward Volacanoes National Park/Keaau
- LEFT on KEAAU PAHOA BYPASS RD / HIGHWAY 130 SOUTH
- Look for MILE MARKER 13 and approximately 1/4 of a mile past the marker, TURN LEFT onto LEILANI AVE (look for the Leilani Estates sign on the lava rock wall)
- Continue on LEILANI AVE approximately 2.5 miles
- LEFT on HOOKUPU STREET
- Ohia House is approximately 3/4 of a mile down on your RIGHT
- Look for our blue Ohia House sign, turn right into the driveway
- PARK in front of the house, you will see the PINEAPPLE parking sign
